WHERE IS THE EVENT BEING HELD?

The next Comic Con North East will take place on 26th and 27th October 2024 at Utilita Arena, Arena Way, Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne & Wear, NE4 7NA.

GET TO US BY LAND, SEA OR AIR!

With excellent air and sea links as well as rail and road networks, getting to Newcastle and the Utilita Arena from overseas or within the UK or Republic of Ireland has never been easier!  Located on the banks of the River Tyne, Utilita Arena Newcastle is ten minutes away from Central Station and the Tyne and Wear Metro.

TRAVELLING BY CAR

Utilita Arena Newcastle is only 3 minutes from the A1 North - South route. Take the A184 signposted 'City Centre', then follow the A189 over the Redheugh Bridge. When in the vicinity of the Arena, follow the signs to the appropriate car parks.

TRAVELLING BY BUS

Many local bus services, Tyne& Wear Metro and rail services stop at Central Station, which is only around a 5 minute walk away from the Arena. Buses from Hexham, Stanley, Consett and many parts of Gateshead and Newcastle all stop at Central Station.

 

Eldon Square and Haymarket Bus Stations are around a 10-minute walk from Utilita Arena Newcastle.

TRAVELLING BY TRAIN

Newcastle Central Train Station, situated on Neville Street is around a 15min walk from Utilita Arena Newcastle providing connections to the local Metro Service. Newcastle Central Station is the busiest station on the East Coast Main Line service connecting people to regional and national destinations including Newcastle International Airport.

TRAVELLING BY PLANE

The Utilita Arena is located just 9.5 miles from Newcastle International Airport, about a 20 minute drive. Flights from all over the world arrive at the airport meaning you can come from almost any country!
